"As the fastest growing economy today, India is home to a fifth of the world's youth"

Half of its population of 1.3 billion is below the age of 25, and a quarter is below the age of 14. Yet the very fact that most of the youth lack any formal exposure to skill development is extremely unfortunate. Posing as the most valuable asset, it also comes up as the most pressing challenge. Although the Indian workforce consist of 80% of the youth, yet they do not possess right marketable skill. Youth belonging to the disadvantaged communities are unable to obtain any technical, vocational or professional skill training due to poverty, lack of awareness and lack of understanding of the job market. India’s way out of the labyrinth of poverty lies in the development and the empowerment of youth and such potential is not meant to be wasted at all.
